Every parent dog is DNA tested and cleared before breeding. We share full genetic reports with every family.
Our puppies are whelped and raised in our home, not a kennel. They know what a couch, a child, and a cat sound like.
All litters are AKC registered. We breed to the miniature dachshund standard — in coat, color, and temperament.

Our Story
River Dachs started the way most great things do — with one dog and a lot of love. We're a family-run program in Georgia, and every puppy we place is raised in our home alongside our own kids.
We breed deliberately and carefully. That means small litters, long waitlists, and families who are as excited about their new dog as we are. We stay in touch long after the puppy goes home.
